Student name: Omar Mohamed
ID number: H00227715
The problem: water shortage
Venue: research and innovation center
Date and time: Sunday, 22nd May 2012, at 8:30

First of all, Omar began his presentation by defining the meaning of water shortage, which means the lack of water. Then he discussed the causes of water shortage which are divided into two categories, human made and natural causes. The human made is industrial waste. The natural causes are global warming and annual floods. Furthermore, he talked about the consequences of the water shortage, which are agriculture, economy and famine. Moreover, he discussed the solutions for this problem and he mentioned three solutions. The solutions are water conservation, purification, recycling and reusing water. Water conservation means reducing the use of water and to avoid waste when using it. That can be done by preventing people from wasting water by giving them a warning and then cutting off the water. Also, let them pay a tax based on the amount of water they used, so they will control the amount of water they will use. He understood the topic that he was presenting and answered all the questions asked to him in a correct way. He was looking at all listeners and acting with them in a good way. He included three references but not in APA style.
